This mission is deeply personal.
My father, Gaylord Babb, proudly served our country as a Marine Sergeant during the Vietnam War. His service instilled in our family a deep respect for the sacrifices made by our military.
My brother and FocusBlu co-founder, Caleb Babb, also answered the call to serve. He served as a Marine Corps 0331 Machine Gunner Squad Leader with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division, based at Camp Pendleton, California.
His military service included:
- Operation Desert Fox (December 1998)
- Operation Iraqi Freedom
- Operation Enduring Freedom
- Third combat deployment in March 2003
